Dr. Douglas Scott Reintgen, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a surgical expert witness from Florida. He also has expertise in surgical oncology. He has active medical practitioner’s license from the state of Florida. He is also certified by the American Board of Surgery. He completed his schooling in 1971 from Greater Latrobe Senior High School at Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He then completed his B.A. in Chemistry, Summa cum Laude in 1979 from Duke University and then earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 1979 from the Duke University Medical Center at Durham, North Carolina. He further completed internship in 1980 and residency in 1981 from the Duke University Medical Center. He then completed his research fellowship in Surgery in 1983 from the Duke University Medical Center. He further completed his second residency in 1987 as the Senior Assistant Resident in Surgery from the Duke University Medical Center. He also served as Chief Resident from 1986 to 1987 at the Duke University Medical Center. Currently, Dr. Reintgen is Consulting and Professor of Surgery at the University of South Florida. He also serves as Director of Cancer Initiatives at the University of South Florida. He is a Fellow of the American College Of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. He also has been part of many conferences and has many publications to his credit. He resides in Florida.edu
