Dr. Douglas Richard Phillips, M.D., F.A.C.S. is an obstetrics and gynecology expert witness from New York. He completed his B.S. in Biology in 1971 from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and then earned his M.D. in 1975 from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn. He further completed his residency in 1979 from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Nassau County Medical Center at East Meadow, New York. He also served as the Chief Resident during his final year of residency. Currently, Dr. Phillips is the Clinical Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the School of Medicine, State University of New York at Stony Brook. He also practices at Northwell Health Physician Partners Obstetrics & Gynecology at Bellmore, New York. He also has numerous publications to his credit. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
