Dr. Donald Clare Kern, M.D., M.P.H., C.C.H.P. is a public health preventive medicine, geriatric medicine and internal medicine expert witness from Albama. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine. Dr. kern completed his B.A. in 1973 from the Haverford College and then earned his M.D. in 1977 from the Tufts University School of Medicine. He further completed his residencies from Creighton University School of Medicine and then completed his fellowships from the Boston University School of Medicine and the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Administration Hospital. He also completed his M.P.H. in 1982 from the Boston University School of Public Health. Currently, Dr. Kern is the Adjunct Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is also the Senior Physician Surveyor at the National Commission on Correctional Health Care and the Chief Medical Officer at the NaphCare, Inc.
