Dr. Derek Calder Angus M.D., M.P.H., F.R.C.P. is a critical care medicine expert witness from Pennsylvania. He completed his M.B., Ch.B. in Medicine in 1984 and his M.R.C.P. in 1988 from the University of Glasgow Faculty of Medicine. Then he completed his M.P.H. in Public Health in 1992 from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He further completed his internship from Western Infirmary, University of Glasgow and his residency from Southern General Hospital, University of Glasgow. He then he completed his fellowships from the International Resuscitation Research Center and the University of Pittsburgh. He has physician's licenses from the states of Pennsylvania and Florida and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Angus is the Chair of the Department of Critical Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and at the UPMC Healthcare system. He is also the Director at CRISMA Center, Department of CCM, University of Pittsburgh Schools of the Health Sciences.
