Dr. Denis Stuart Atkinson, Jr., M.D. is a neuroradiology expert witness from Georgia. He completed his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Political Science in 1986 from Texas Christian University and then earned his Medical Degree in 1990 at Texas A&M College of Medicine. He further completed an internship at Scott and White Memorial Hospital, then completed his residencies at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Boston University Medical Center and his fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital and Vanderbilt University Medical Center Program. He has physician's licenses from the states of Georgia and Florida and is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Currently, Dr. Atkinson is a President at Denis S. Atkinson, MD, PC and is affiliated with the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, the Geisinger Medical Center, the Geisinger Community Medical Center, the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital and Self Regional Healthcare. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine and a Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital.
