He is an Adjunct Professor Health Services Research Section of the Department of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. Dr. Sittig was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medical Informatics at Oregon Health & Sciences University. He was an Associate Research Scientist in Anesthesiology at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Sittig was an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics & Engineering at Vanderbilt University. He was also an Associate Research Professor in Department of Computer Medicine at George Washington University. Dr. Sittig was an Instructor in Medicine and an Assistant Professor of Medicine of Harvard Medical School.
