Dr. David William Pincus M.D., Ph.D., FAANS is a surgeon expert witness, who specialises in neurological surgery, based in Gainesville, Florida. He was issued the only active medical license by the state of California and was also certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and by the American Board of Pediatric Neurological Surgery. He graduated with a B.S. degree from the Yale College, New Haven, Connecticut in 1985. He earned his M.D. degree in 1992 and his Ph.D. degree in 1991 from the Cornell University Graduate School of Medical Sciences of the Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. He then pursued his internship in general surgery from the The Presbyterian Hospital in the City of New York, Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in 1993, followed by the his residency in neurological surgery from the Neurological Institute, Columbia University of College Physicians and Surgeons in 1988. He then completed his fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery from the Children's National Medical Center, Washington, DC in 1999. Currently he is the professor of Pediatric Neurosurgery at the University of Florida and the Chief of the Department Pediatric Neurosurgery at the Kaiser Oakland Medical Center. He is also professionally affiliated to Malcom Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Lake City Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He is a member of the American Society of Pediatric Neurosurgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgery, CNS/AANS Joint Section on Pediatric Neurosurgery, Children's Oncology Group and a fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). He has got several publications to his credit.
