Dr. David Michael Parenti M.D. is an immunology, infectious disease and internal medicine expert witness from District of Columbia. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biological Science in 1972 and then completed his M.A. in Zoology in 1974 from the University of California, Davis. He then earned his M.D. in 1977 from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He further completed his internship and residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Dr. Parenti also completed his M.Sc. in Clinical Tropical Medicine in 1980 from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in London, England. He then completed his second residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and then completed his fellowship at Tufts-New England Medical Center. He has a physician’s license from the state of the District of Columbia and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Currently, Dr. Parenti is the Professor of Medicine of Microbiology, Immunology and Tropical Medicine at George Washington University Medical Center. Additionally, he is the Director of Employee Health at George Washington University Hospital and Medical Faculty Associates. He is the Director of Traveler's Clinic.

Dr. Parenti has additional knowledge in tropical diseases.
