Dr. David Thomas Overton, M.D., M.B.A. is an emergency medicine expert witness from Michigan. He completed his Associate of Science in 1973 from Lansing Community College and subsequently completed his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1974 from Michigan State University and then earned his Doctor of Medicine in 1978 from Wayne State University. He further completed his residencies from the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital System and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He also completed his M.B.A. in Business Administration in 1991 from Michigan State University. He has a physician's license from the state of Michigan and is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Overton is the Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine, the Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine and the Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education at Western Michigan University.
Dr. Overton has additional knowledge in internal medicine.
