Dr. David William Munter M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.E.P. is an emergency medicine expert witness from Virginia. He completed his B.S. in 1978 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and then earned his M.D. in 1982 from Uniformed Services University of The Health Sciences. He further completed his internships at Naval Hospital and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and then completed his residency at Darnall Army Community Hospital. Dr. Munter also completed his Master of Business Administration from the College of William and Mary. He has physician’s licenses from the states of Virginia and North Carolina and is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Munter is the Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Eastern Virginia Medical School. He is also an Emergency Medicine Physician at the Emergency Physicians of Tidewater and Sentara Princess Anne Hospital. Additionally, he is the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Sentara Obici Hospital and is the President of the DESA Consulting Group.
