Dr. David Gene Kastl, M.D. is a thoracic surgery expert witness from South Carolina. He completed his Bachelor of Science in 1969 from the University of Oklahoma, then completed his Master of Business Administration in 2003 from Touro University and then earned his Doctor of Medicine in 1973 from the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine. He further completed his internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and his residencies at Mercy Medical Center and Penn State at Hershey Medical Center. He has physician's licenses from the states of South Carolina and Louisiana and is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
Currently, Dr. Kastl is working as the primary vascular surgeon at the Hilton Head Vein Center in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Previously, he was a Clinical Associate in Cardiac Surgery at the National Institutes of Health.
