His earlier career included safety management positions with Andrews Transport, Inc. and Chemical Express, Inc.

Mr. Hedgpeth holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Director of Fleet Safety, Advanced Safety Certificate (OSHA), and Certified Director of Safety. He has received numerous industry awards, such as the Truckload Carriers Association Fleet Safety Director Award and the Texas Motor Transportation Association President’s Award.

He has testified nationwide as both an expert witness and corporate representative in depositions, jury trials, and bench trials.
