David Van Cossman

Dr. David Van Cossman M.D., F.A.C.S. is a surgeon expert witness who specialises in vascular surgery, based in Los Angeles, California. He was issued medical license by the states of Florida and California and was certified by the American Board of Surgery in vascular surgery. He is also a Registered Vascular Technologist. He graduated with a B.A. degree from the Yale University in 1967, thereafter earned his M.D. degree from Yale Medical School in 1971. He completed his internship in 1972 and residency in 1973 from the Yale New Haven Hospital. He then completed his residency in general surgery in 1976 and received his fellowship in 1977 from Tufts-New England Medical Center. He served in the U.S. Army in 1980, then as a vascular surgeon volunteer, US Army, till May 2008 at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany. He is professionally affiliated to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Olympia Medical Center, Providence Saint John's Health Center and Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. He was awarded the prestigious Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2000. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS), Southern California Transplant Society, Western Vascular Society, Southern California Vascular Surgical Society, Vascular Access Society of the Americas, Society of Medical Consultants to the Armed Forces and is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has got several publications to his credit.
