Dr. Daniel B. Fagre, Ph.D., is a distinguished researcher in the field of climate change and mountain ecosystems. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis, and embarked on a remarkable career journey.
Joining the National Park Service in 1989, Dr. Fagre soon became the Climate Change Research Coordinator at Glacier National Park, contributing significantly to the United States Global Change Research Program. His pivotal role extended to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), where he served until his retirement in 2020, continuing as Scientist Emeritus thereafter.
