Dr. Daniel Wayne Armstrong, Ph.D. is a biochemistry expert witness from Texas. He earned his B.S. in 1972 From Washington & Lee University. Then he completed his M.S. in 1974 and earned his Ph.D. in 1977 from Texas A&M University.

Currently, Dr. Armstrong is the Robert A. Welch Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington. Prior to this, he was the Caldwell Distinguished Professor at Iowa State University and the Founder and First Director of the Center for Environmental Science and Technology at the University of Missouri-Rolla. Further before that, he was a Professor at the University of Missouri-Rolla and the Professor of Chemistry and Head of Analytical Division at Texas Tech University.

He has additional knowledge in chromatography, mass spectrometry, chiral chromatography, public speaking, bioanalysis, university teaching and curriculum design.
