Expert Details
Samuelson is a long-standing member of the Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG), having served as Secretary, Treasurer, Board Member, and President between 2009 and 2019. During his PNG presidency, he helped establish the Anti-Counterfeiting Task Force (ACTF), which has collaborated with federal agencies to intercept counterfeit coins and bullion. He has also contributed to the Numismatic Crime Information Center and has been affiliated with the Industry Council for Tangible Assets since 2001.
Samuelson holds a Bachelor of Arts from Washington and Lee University. He is an authorized dealer with both PCGS and NGC and remains active in the trade, attending multiple industry shows annually.
