Dr. Cynthia Ellen Keene Shortell, M.D. is a vascular surgery expert witness from North Carolina. Dr. Shortell completed her A.B. from the Dartmouth College and then earned her M.D. in 1984 from the Cornell University. She further completed her internship and residency from the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital. She also completed her fellowship from the same institute. Currently, Dr. Shortell is the Professor of Surgery and the Associate Professor in Radiology at the Duke University School of Medicine where she is also the Executive Vice Chair and the Chief of the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Dr. Shortell is also a vascular surgeon at the Davis Ambulatory Surgical Center at Durham, North Carolina and the Duke Vascular Surgery and Vein Center at Brier Creek at Raleigh, North Carolina.
