She earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Temple University in 1982 and later completed an M.A. in English at the same institution in 1986. In 1998, she completed an undergraduate pre-medical curriculum through City University of New York. Dr. Huber received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree in 2006 from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and completed an internship that same year at Total Wellness Medical Center.
