He specializes in Thoracic Radiology, Lung Cancer, Cardiac Imaging and Interventional Radiology. He is a Professor at University of Maryland School of Medicine. He is the author of over 200 publications in a variety of areas of Cardiothoracic Radiology including cardiac CT imaging. He is a member of the Fleischner Society, the past Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Thoracic Imaging, Past-President of the Society of Thoracic Radiology and Vice-President of the North American Society of Cardiac Imaging. For his contribution in his field he was featured in America's Top Doctors (book series) and Castle Connolly America's Top Doctors (digital guide). He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Maryland.
