Currently, Dr. DePaolo practices at Southeastern Sports Medicine and Orthopedics in Asheville, NC, following a successful tenure as the owner of his own orthopedic practice specializing in sports medicine and joint reconstructive surgery. His extensive experience includes co-founding the Blue Ridge Bone & Joint Clinic and serving on various medical boards, including the Committee of 100 for the LSU Health Foundation and the North Carolina Sports Legacy Foundation. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. DePaolo has a background in engineering, having worked as a Senior Project Engineer for Exxon in the design and construction of oil and gas production facilities. His multifaceted expertise and leadership in both medicine and engineering make him a distinguished figure in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine.
