He further pursued his Internship and residency in Internal Medicine from University of South Florida Affiliated Hospitals and James A. Haley Veterans Administration Hospital at Tampa, Florida. He also served military in the form of Lieutenant Commander for Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Navy. Currently, he is Chief of Geriatrics and Director, Medical Education, Sarasota Memorial Hospital. He is also Clinical Professor in Department of Geriatrics, Florida State University College of Medicine. He is a member of American College of Physicians.
