Dr. Bruce David Janiak, M.D. is an emergency medicine expert witness from Georgia. He also has expertise in pediatric emergency medicine. He completed his A.B. in 1965 from the Marietta College at Marietta, Ohio and then earned his M.D. in 1969 from the University of Cincinnati at Cincinnati, Ohio. He further completed his rotating internship in 1970 and his residency in Emergency Medicine in 1972 from the Cincinnati General Hospital respectively. He also served the military as the Director of Emergency Medical Services from 1972 to 1974 at the Pensacola Naval Hospital at Penascola, Florida for the United States Navy. Currently, he is the Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Augusta University Medical Center (formally known as the Georgia Regents Medical Center). Prior to this, he was the Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Toledo Hospital at Toledo, Ohio. Also, he has staff privileges at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital, Medical College of Georgia-Children’s Hospital and the Veteran's Administration Hospital. He also has several publications to his credit. He currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio with his wife Michele Janiak and they have fourteen children.
