He further completed fellowship in Clinical Pediatric Cardiology at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Ontario in the year 1979. Currently, Dr. Bruce Stephen Alpert is a Professor of Pediatrics at Plough Foundation Chair of Excellence. He is also consulting staff at Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center, Baptist Hospital & Baptist East, St. Francis Hospital, St. Jude Research Hospital and Regional Medical Center, Memphis, Tennessee.
