He then completed his Fellowship in Cranial Base and Cerebrovascular Surgery and Faculty from The George Washington University Medical Center at Washington, D.C. in 1994. He is the Chief of the Subdivision of Neurological Surgery, Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Maryland and an Associate Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at the Hershey Medical Center, Penn State College of Medicine. He was the Former President and Scientific Program Chairman of the Pennsylvania Neurosurgical Society and has served as an Executive Council Member since 1998. Dr.Holmesis a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Pennsylvania Neurosurgical Society, and the Lackawanna County Medical Society.
