Dr. Goodman completed a fellowship in pain medicine at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and a residency in anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He earned his M.D. from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He holds an active medical license in Arkansas.
His leadership roles include serving on Mercy’s Pain Medicine Specialty Council and directing anesthesia services and chronic pain programs while in the military. He has contributed to academic publications, served as a peer reviewer for the British Journal of Anaesthesia, and lectured on military medical procedures internationally.
Dr. Goodman has experience coordinating multidisciplinary pain management services and evaluating systems of care delivery, both in civilian practice and military medical settings.
