He was appointed as the Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Neuropsychiatry, University of South Carolina School of Medicine during 2007-09. He is currently serving as the Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine since August 2009. He is a member of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law, Child and Adolescent Committee and American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He has been awarded with the American Academy of Forensic Sciences Richard Rosner Award in 2010.
