Bhajanjit Singh Bal

Dr. Bhajanjit Sonny Bal, M.D., J.D., M.B.A., F.A.A.O.S. also known as B. Sonny Bal, is an orthopedic surgery expert witness from Missouri. He has a medical practitioner’s license and an attorney license from the state of Missouri. He is certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He completed his A.A. in Biology in 1981 from the San Joaquin Delta College at Stockton, California and subsequently completed his B.S. in Genetics in 1982 and then earned his M.S. in 1983 from the University of California at Davis, California. He then earned his M.D. in 1987 from the Cornell University Medical College at New York City, New York. He also completed his M.B.A. in 1999 from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University at Evanston, Illinois and then completed his J.D. in 2009 from the University Of Missouri School Of Law at Columbia, Missouri. He then completed his internship and residency in General Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of California Hospitals and Clinics at San Francisco, California and the University Of Missouri School Of Medicine at Kansas City, Missouri. He further pursued his fellowship in Hip and Implant Surgery and as a Research Assistant from the Massachusetts General Hospital at Boston, Massachusetts. Currently, Dr. Bal is the Professor at the University of Missouri Health System-Columbia and the Adjunct Faculty for the Executive MBA Medicine Program of the University Malaysia. He is also an Orthopedic Surgeon at the Missouri Orthopaedic Institute. He has numerous publications to his credit. He is the Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He is also the member of the editorial board of the Orthopedics Today.
