Bennet Ifeakandu Omalu

Dr. Bennet Ifeakandu Omalu M.D., M.B.A., M.P.H. is an Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology expert witness from California. He is also Neuropathology and Forensic Pathology subspecialist. He has active medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of California, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. He is certified by the American Board of Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology. He finished his schooling from The Royal Schools of Music in England and then completed his B.S., M.B. in 1990 from the University of Nigeria in England and then earned his M.D. in 1991 from the University Of Nigeria College Of Medicine. He also completes his M.B.A. from the Carnegie-Mellon University under the Tepper School of Business at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He finished his M.P.H degree in Epidemiology under the Graduate School of Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He then pursued his internship in General practice from the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital at Enugu, Nigeria. He also pursued his residency in Pathology under the Harlem Hospital Center from Columbia University in New York. Currently, Dr. Omalu is a Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, a member of the American College of Epidemiology, a member of the American Association of Physician Leadership, a member of the American Association for Advancement of Science, also the member of the College of American Pathologists. He also has several publications honors to his credit.
