He did his Post-Graduate Training in surgery Michael Reese Hospital, University of Illinois from 1987 to 1992. He is affiliated with Good Shepherd Hospital, Alexian Brothers Medical Center, St. Alexius Medical Center and Northern Illinois Medical Center. He holds the position of Vice President, Medical Management at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital since 1998. He was the past Chairman, Breast Cancer Care Management Initiative at Advocate Healthcare. He was also the Chairman in the Department of Surgery at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital from 1997 to 1998. He is also the Physician Ambassador at Premier, Inc. since 2002. He is a member American Medical Association, Chicago Medical Society, American Society of General Surgeons, American Society of Breast Surgeons, American College of Healthcare Executives, American College of Physician Executives and American Society of Breast Diseases. He is a Fellow of American College of Surgeons. Dr. Rosen is a founding member of Advanced Surgical Care of Northern Illinois, has practiced in Chicago’s northwest suburbs for more than 25 years. He specializes in Breast Surgery, Conventional Surgery, Robotic Surgery and Minimally Invasive Surgery. He teaches for the American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS), the School of Oncoplastic Surgery, and the National Consortium of Breast Centers. He is licensed to practice medicine in the State of Illinois.
