Barry Nichols Gardiner

Dr. Barry Nichols Gardiner, M.D. is a general surgery expert witness from California. He has an active medical practitioner’s license from the state of California and is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He completed his Graduation in 1963 from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah and then earned his Doctor of Medicine in 1967 from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He further pursued his internship in 1968 and residency in 1970 in Surgery from the University of California Medical Centre, San Francisco, California. He also completed his Senior Resident in 1973 and Chief Resident in 1974 from the University of California Medical Centre, San Francisco, California. He served in the U.S. Army for the years of 1974 to 1977 as Lt. Colonel, Staff Surgeon, Instructor, and Director of Department of Experimental Surgery at Presidio of San Francisco. Currently, Dr. Gardiner is a general surgeon at Alta Bates Summit Medical Centre-Oakland, San Ramon Regional Medical Centre and John Muir Health-Walnut Creek Medical Centre. He also maintains his private practice at San Ramon, California. He has twelve publications to his credit. He is also a Surveyor for Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and Expert Reviewer of Medical Board of California since 1997.
