Dr. Babak Sarani, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a general surgery expert witness from District of Columbia. His expertise also includes surgical critical care and trauma surgery. Dr. Sarani completed his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 1997 from the George Washington University School of Medicine. Currently, Dr. Sarani is the Director of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery and the Co-Medical Director of Critical Care at the George Washington University Hospital. He is also the Professor of Surgery and Emergency Medicine at the GWU School of Medicine. Dr. Sarani is a Fellow of the American College Of Surgeons and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He also has several publications to his credit.
