Dr. Arthur Alan Klein M.D. is a pediatric cardiologist and testifying expert from New York. He has a medical license from the state of New York and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He completed his B.S. in Natural Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, at Boston, MA in 1968 and then earned his M.D. in 1972 from State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center at New York, NY. He further pursued his residency, internship and clinical fellowship in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology from The New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center at New York, NY. Currently, he is a leader in health care management, serves as President of the Mount Sinai Health Network, as Executive Vice President of Mount Sinai Hospital and Executive Vice President of the Icahn School of Medicine. Prior to this recent position, Dr. Klein served as the Regional Executive Director of the Western Region of the North Shore-LIJ Health System, Senior Vice President for Pediatric Services of the North Shore-LIJ Health System; Chief of Staff of the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of NY; and the Philip Lanzkowsky Professor of Pediatrics Hofstra North Shore-LIJ Medical School. He was previously a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics and a Professor of Clinical Public Health at the Weill College of Medicine of Cornell University and served for many years as the Executive Vice Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Weill Cornell. Dr. Klein is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology. He has numerous publications to his credit.
