He completed his residency in Anesthesiology in 1998 and his internship in Internal Medicine in 1999 from the New York-Presbyterian Hospital and the St Luke’s- Roosevelt Hospital Center at New York City, New York. he further completed his second residency in Anesthesiology in 2001 and his fellowship in Critical Care Medicine from the New York-Presbyterian Hospital and the Mount Sinai Hospital at New York City, New York. He also served the military from 1993 to 1994 from where he was honorably discharged with final rank of 1st Lieutenant. Currently, Dr. Atchabahian is the Associate Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology at the NYU School of Medicine and the Attending Anesthesiologist at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases at New York City, New York. He has several publications to his credit. He has both US and French citizenship. He also knows French and Spanish in addition to English.com
