He currently serves as Vice President and National Director – Forensics at Walker Consultants. His practice focuses on earthquake engineering, wind engineering, structural dynamics, building collapse investigations, construction and design defects, vibration assessment, fire damage, corrosion, and risk assessment. He has investigated structural damage resulting from hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, ground movement, construction-induced vibrations, fire, and structural collapse, and regularly utilizes computer modeling to evaluate the causes of structural failures.

Dr. Jain earned a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, with a wind engineering emphasis, and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in multiple states, including California, Florida, Texas, Louisiana, New Jersey, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and holds an NCEES Record.

His experience includes forensic investigations involving high-rise buildings, parking structures, airports, bridges, industrial facilities, residential properties, and commercial developments. He has investigated thousands of structures damaged by hurricanes and earthquakes and has provided deposition and trial testimony in matters involving structural failures and property damage. Dr. Jain has also contributed to ASCE standards, co-authored engineering references and technical publications, and served in leadership roles within professional engineering organizations focused on wind engineering and structural performance.
