Anthony Christopher Chang

Anthony Christopher Chang, M.D. is a physician based in California. He is board certified in Pediatric Cardiology. He attended Georgetown University School of Medicine from where he did his graduation in the year 1984. Prior to enrolling himself in medical school he did his Bachelor of Arts in molecular biology from Johns Hopkins University in 1980. He completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Health Care Administration from the University of Miami, School of Business. He also completed a Masters in Public Health (MPH) in Health Care Policy from Jonathan Fielding School of Public Health of the University of California, Los Angeles. He did his Masters of Science (MS) in Data Science with a sub-specialization in artificial intelligence from Stanford School of Medicine in the year 2014. He is also a computer scientist-in-residence at Chapman University. He was honored with the McCaw Award of Academic Excellence by University of Miami, School of Business and Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence by Jonathan Fielding School of Public Health. He did his internship from Children's Hospital National Medical Center in the year 1985, from where he also completed his residency in the year 1987. He did his fellowship in cardiology from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA in the year 1990. He is also a board certified medical examiner. He served as an academic faculty member in many prestigious institutions like - University of Pennsylvania Medical School, Philadelphia, PA, Harvard University School of Medicine, Boston, MA, University Southern California School of Medicine, Los Angeles, CA and Baylor College of Medicine. He is currently serving as the Director of Heart Institute, Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Service Children's Hospital of Orange County. He is licensed to practice medicine in state of California. Dr. Chang has been voted “Physician of Excellence” by the Orange County Medical Association.
