Dr. Anna Wald, M.D., M.P.H. is an infectious disease and internal medicine expert witness from Washington. She completed her B.A. in 1979 from Wesleyan University and then earned her M.D. in 1985 from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She further completed her internship and residency from Boston University- School of Medicine and her fellowship from the University of Washington. Dr. Wald also completed her M.P.H. in 1994 from the University of Washington, School of Public Health & Community Medicine. She has a physician's license from the state of Washington and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Currently, Dr. Wald is the Professor of Epidemiology, the Professor of Medicine and the Professor of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Washington, Department of Epidemiology, School of Public Health. She is also the Head of the Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and a Member of the Vaccines & Infectious Diseases Division (VIDD) of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center at the University of Washington, Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Additionally, she is the Director of UW Virology Research Clinic.
