Andrew James Lawson

Dr. Andrew James Lawson M.D., F.A.C.E.P. is an emergency medicine expert witness from California. He has an active medical practitioner’s license from the states of California. He is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He finished his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1989 at Stanford University and then earned his Medical degree in 1993 from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University of Arizona. He pursued his Residency in 1996 from the Stanford emergency medicine. Currently, Dr. Lawson is director of Quality Assurance & Quality Improvement and Partner of the Mission Viejo Emergency Medicine Associates, also Base Station Physician of the Mission Regional Trauma Center. He is working with Vital Signs of Healing Curriculum creator and lecturer and Consultant of Safe Swimming & Drowning Prevention, also working as a Creator & Author of Coaching Moments in Healthcare. He is professional societies member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, a member of the Orange County Medical Association, a member of the Physician Wellness Committee Orange County Medical Society, a member of the Quality Assurance & Quality Improvement Committee, a member of the Physician Wellness Committee and also a member of the Mission Hospital Peer Review Committee. He has few publications and researches to his credit.
