Dr. Andrew John Bierhals M.D., M.P.H. is a radiologist expert witness who specialises in thoracic radiology and cardiac imaging, based in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was issued medical license by the states of Florida and Missouri and was certified by the American Board of Radiology in diagnostic radiology and earned the certificate of Advanced Proficiency in Cardiac CT from the ACR. He graduated with a B.S. degree in Sports Medicine in 1993, followed by M.P.H. degree in epidemiology and thereafter earned an M.D. degree in 200 from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He then completed his residency in diagnostic radiology from the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri in 2005 and finally his fellowship cardiopulmonary radiology from the Washington University School of Medicine, Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, St. Louis, Missouri in 2006. Currently he is the Vice Chairman of Quality and Safety at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and also an associate professor at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He is a member of The Mallinckrodt Connection (TMC). He has got a number of publications to his credit.
