Dr. Amy Elizabeth Herrington, D.N.P., R.N., C.E.N. is a nursing expert witness from Florida. She completed her Associate of Science in Nursing in 1989 from Eastern Kentucky University and then completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2004 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2005 from the University of Phoenix. Dr. Herrington then completed her Executive Leadership Management Program in 2009 from the University of Kentucky and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2013 from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. She has nursing licenses from the states of California, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nevada and Washington.

Currently, Dr. Herrington is an independent nurse consultant and is an Assistant Professor at the University of Saint Augusting for Health Sciences.
