His academic experience includes serving as an adjunct professor at Weatherford College and Texas Christian University and as a guest lecturer at Texas Christian University, teaching courses including macroeconomics, microeconomics, securities analysis, sales management, and the expert's role in conflict resolution.

Before entering economic consulting, Dr. Needham worked in manufacturing, banking, and insurance from 1978 to 1997, including positions as treasurer, vice president, CFO, bank vice president, and registered representative. He has participated in continuing education through professional organizations and has served in leadership roles with the American Rehabilitation Economics Association and Collegium of Pecuniary Damages Experts.
