Dr. Allan Robert Tunkel M.D., PH.D., MACP is an internal medicine expert witness from Rhode Island. He completed his B.S. in Biology in 1976 from the Seton Hall University and then completed his Ph.D. in Experimental Pathology in 1980 and his M.D. in 1984 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He further completed his residency from the Hospital of the Medical College of Pennsylvania and then completed his fellowship from the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center. Dr. Tunkel has a physician's license from the state of Rhode Island and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Tunkel is a Professor of Medicine and Medical Science, Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education, and Chief of the Section of Medical Education at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
