Alexander John Greenstein

Dr. Alexander John Greenstein, M.D. is a Surgery and Public Health Expert witness from New York, New York. Dr. Greenstein did B.A. from Yale University. Je completed M.D. from New York Hospital/Cornell University Medical College. He completed M.P.H. from Mount Sinai School of Public Health. Dr, Greenstein did Residency in Surgery from Weill Cornell Medical Center. He did Residency on Preventive Medicine from Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Greenstein also did Residency on General Surgery from Mount Sinai Hospital. He has Fellowship on Laparoscopic Surgery from Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Greenstein is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has extensive clinical focus on several surgeries such as Abdominal Hernia, Appendicitis, Cholecystectomy, Colorectal Cancer, Colorectal Surgery, Gastrectomy, Hernia Repair, Laparoscopic Hernia Repair, Stomach Cancer, Ulcerative Colitis etc. Dr. Greenstein is Greenstein is the Surgical Co-Director of the IBD Center at Mount Sinai and an Associate Professor of Surgery and Health Policy. He has experiences at the National Institute of Mental Health, the Memorial Sloan Kettering Medical Center and the Brazilian Ministry of Health. His research focuses on advances and techniques in GI surgery for Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis.
