Dr. Alex Clark Willingham M.D., F.A.A.P.M.R., is a physical medicine expert witness from Texas. He has an active medical license from the state of Texas and is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has expertise in pain management, occupational therapy evaluation, wound care, physical therapy and physical therapy evaluation. He completed his Associate Bachelor of Science with major in Chemistry and minor in Math and Biology in 1975 from the Amarillo College at Amarillo, Texas. He then completed his Bachelor of Arts with major in Chemistry and minor in Math, Biology and German in 1977 from the Texas Tech University at Lubbock, Texas. Subsequently he received his Medico Cirujano degree in 1981 from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, School of Medicine at Guadalajara, Mexico. He then completed his Fifth Pathway Program in 1983 from Stony Brook School of Medicine at Stony Brook, New York and Long Island Jewish Medical Center at Jamaica, New York. He further pursued his residency from the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine from New York City, New York. Currently, Dr. Willingham is the Clinical Assistant Professor of University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonia, Texas and President of South Texas PM & R Group and also the Medical Director for Warm Springs Rehabilitation Hospital.
