Dr. Alan David Kaye, M.D., Ph.D., D.A.B.A., D.A.B.P.M., D.A.B.I.P.P. is an anesthesiology expert witness from Louisiana. He has physician’s licenses from the states of Louisiana and four other states and is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, American Board of Pain Medicine, and the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians. Dr. Kaye earned his B.S. in Psychology and Biology in 1985 and his M.D. in 1989 from the University of Arizona. He further completed his internship at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation and Clinic and his residency at Tulane Medical Center. He then completed his Ph.D. in Pharmacology in 1997 from Tulane University School of Medicine and subsequently completed his fellowships at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and the Medical College of Vienna in Austria. Currently, Dr. Kaye is the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs, the Fellowship Director and a Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pharmacology, Toxicology, and Neurosciences at Louisiana State University School of Medicine.
