Dr. Khanna is a professor of orthopaedic surgery and biomedical engineering at the Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and is the Vice Chair of Professional Development for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He also serves as division chief of Johns Hopkins Orthopaedic and Spine Surgery—National Capital Region and his practice is based in Bethesda, MD. He serves as the course director for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Board Review Course which is annually held in Chicago. Dr. Khanna also teaches and directs several other CME courses for spine surgeons through the North American Spine Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and other organizations. He also previously served as the clinical director for the Johns Hopkins Center for Biomedical Engineering, Innovation and Design. Dr. Khanna is awarded with Best Spine Surgeons and Specialists in America, Becker’s Orthopaedic and Spine Review He is a member of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.
