Adam Grill, C.D.S., has more than 19 years of combined experience in commercial vehicle transportation, including work as a truck driver, forklift operator, heavy equipment operator, industrial machinery operator, truck-driving instructor, dock supervisor, truck-driving consultant, yard hostler, and accident investigator. He received his commercial vehicle operator certification in 2005 and holds a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements for hazardous materials, tankers, double and triple trailers, passenger buses, and school buses. He is also certified as a Director of Safety and in forklift operation, longer combination vehicles, crane hoist and rigging, aerial manlift, telehandler, and heavy equipment operation.

Grill served for eight years in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army National Guard, where his duties included truck and heavy vehicle operation, driver safety, and instruction. Since 2003, he has worked with Atlantic Pacific Resource Group/Lew Grill Specialized Services in roles including truck driver, safety director, consultant, and dock supervisor. Since 2014, he has served with The Legacy Corporation International as warehouse manager, safety supervisor, training supervisor, and FMCSA consultant.

His areas of experience include commercial motor vehicle safety, driver training, fleet management, transportation operations, accident investigation, vehicle dynamics, accident reconstruction, and trucking-related studies. He has testified as an expert concerning the safe operation of commercial motor vehicles and the standard of care of commercial vehicle operators and motor carriers.
