He also completed his fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology in 1970 from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S Army Medical Corps for the years 1970 to 1973. Currently, Dr. Peckham is a paediatrics staff at Pennsylvania Hospital. He was a chief division of neonatology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for the years 1971 to 1990 and also an assistant physician for the years 1971 to 1972. He is also a member of American Academy of Paediatrics.
